The Mix Bus Plugin Manager 0.1.5
Release notes for The Mix Bus Plugin Manager 0.1.5.
The Mix Bus Plugin Manager 0.1.5
The first Linux release — and the release that makes Linux a first-class citizen of The Mix Bus.
-
Linux build, one file — Plugin Manager ships as a single AppImage: download it, make it executable, run it. No installer, no package manager, nothing scattered across your system.
-
Self-updating on Linux — like the macOS build, Plugin Manager checks themixbus.com.au, downloads its own update, verifies the checksum and swaps itself in on relaunch. The AppImage you download today keeps itself current.
-
Correct plugin version detection — Linux VST3 bundles carry no Info.plist, so Plugin Manager now reads the VST3 manifest (moduleinfo.json) to see exactly which plugin version you have installed. No more phantom "update available" for a build you already own.
Grab the AppImage, chmod +x it, and open it — your Annolyzer license is waiting.
Welcome, Linux.
